Conjoined 8-Month-Old Twin Girls Successfully Separated During Surgery (VIDEO)

Publish by Mary FischerA set of 8-month-old conjoined twin women went through separation surgery yesterday in the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and amazingly -- the process would be a success!

Allison and Amelia Tucker were born attached in the chest, plus they shared a liver, diaphragm, and pericardium. Their mother, Shellie Tucker, shipped them via c-section at CHOP when she was 35 days along. So that as expected, she and her husband were scared by what happens for their precious babies, however they understood separation surgery would be a must -- plus they began planning it several weeks before it happened yesterday.
