New Breastfeeding Bill Could Mean Legal Action Against Those Who Tell Moms to Stop

Publish by Michele ZippWhen a breastfeeding mother is discriminated against, you will find nurse-inches or applications to finish the injustices we face. We sometimes make enough noise to create a change, but more must be done. Texas House of Representative member Jessica Farrar wants change, too. She introduced HB 1706, an invoice that will basically turn it into a crime if an individual harasses a lady breastfeeding in public places. It's already law in Texas that the mother has the authority to breastfeed her child in almost any location she's approved to become. And yet you will find still tales within the condition of the nursing mother started from a women's gym to spare children and the other told to prevent breastfeeding in a Houston Target. But yet, a Texas judge lately ruled that there is no discrimination against a mother who had been fired for requesting a location at the office to function.

Something Large needs to take place in Texas for breastfeeding moms to obtain the respect they deserve and Farrar is scheming to make which happen.
